I may be a little woman, but I have a big GOD. I may have big problems, but my God is BIGGER!

As far as I can remember I came to know God and His word when I was young and the first time I attended my first Sunday School. I remember the first Bible verse I’ve memorized then, it’s from the book of II Corinthians, chapter 5 verse 17. And it says:

If anyone is in CHRIST, he is a new CREATION. The OLD has gone, the NEW has come.

Everything I knew then, about God, the Bible and its stories, His majesty and splendor, were just mere knowledge of Him. It was all in my head, but never in my heart. I thought I understood that verse until the time I came to accept Christ as my Lord and personal Savior. It was January 2001, during our Elementary Retreat when I accepted the invitation of our School Pastor to let Jesus enter my heart. That was an outpouring and remarkable event. It’s as if I do received my passport to heaven. Truly, I did. For Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

Since then, the enemy is at work everyday to ruin my life and destroy my relationship with Jesus, but I never fail to experience the abundance of God’s blessings and grace. He is a faithful, merciful, gracious, forgiving God. He is a good provider, a healer, a father, a friend. Above all He’s a loving God. Remember how he sent His Son to this world?

Just like the night before I received Christ, He is also knocking on your hearts. Open its doors and let God work through your life, and be a new CREATION.

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him and he with me. Revelation 3: 20
